Maui Jewish Fair

We are excited to begin an annual tradition here on Maui. Inspired by our dear friend Eitan Sadeh, our yearly "Farm Fair" will showcase Jewish talent and businesses on Maui. The afternoon will include food, games and fun for the whole family.

This year we chose June 2nd, which by divine providence falls out on "Yom Yerushalayim". Yom Yerushalayim is an Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in the aftermath of the June 1967 Six-Day War.

Up until that point, Jews could not pray at the Western Wall or enter the Old City. The emotional "har habayit biyadeinu", "the temple mount is in our hands" cackled over walkie talkies as soldiers shed tears and bowed their heads in prayer at the most sacred place in Judaism.

Come for a short visit or stay all afternoon long. It promises to be a great day for all!
